Privacy Policy
1. Data controller
The controller for data processed through Quiero Tener is Corporación Lutz S.R.L., RNC RNC: 1-32-95621-4, located at Av. 27 de Febrero 265 / 10202 Santo Domingo. Privacy contact: office@quierotener.com.
2. Scope and legal framework
This policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, protected and retained when using http://localhost/quierotener.com. Processing follows applicable Dominican Republic law, including Law No. 172-13 on personal-data protection and applicable electronic-commerce and consumer-protection rules.
3. Data processed
Depending on the features used, data may include:
- account data such as display name, email, account type, language and verification status;
- business data such as RNC, legal form and commercial registration where required;
- listings, descriptions, images, location and contact details selected by the user;
- support communications, reports and requests;
- technical and security data such as time, IP address and user agent directly or as hashes, access logs, sessions and fraud-prevention records;
- consent records, legal-document versions and acceptance time;
- payment or subscription data when paid features are enabled, usually also processed by payment providers.
4. Purposes
Data is used to create and manage accounts, publish and moderate listings, support search and contact, verify email, provide support, send transactional messages, manage plans, prevent fraud and abuse, protect security, comply with legal duties, handle data rights and improve platform operation.
5. Grounds for processing
Processing may rely on steps requested by the user and performance of the service, consent where needed, compliance with legal duties and legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, legal defense and platform operation, as permitted by applicable law.
6. Visibility and recipients
Data voluntarily included in a listing may be public or limited to registered users according to platform settings. Phone numbers may be restricted to registered users. Data may be shared with necessary hosting, email, security, support and payment providers and with authorities when legally required. Personal data is not sold to advertisers.
7. International processing
Technical providers may process data outside the Dominican Republic. Reasonable contractual, technical and organizational safeguards are used and processing is limited to service purposes.
8. Cookies and sessions
The platform uses strictly necessary cookies or equivalent mechanisms for sessions, security, URL language and forms. Advertising cookies are not currently required for the described features. If non-essential analytics or advertising are added later, users will be informed and consent will be requested where required.
9. Retention
Data is retained while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. It may then be kept for reasonable periods for legal duties, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and defense of claims. Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups until secure rotation.
10. Security
Measures include access controls, encryption in transit, password and token hashing, CSRF protection, security logs and other reasonable safeguards. No system is absolutely secure; users must protect passwords and report suspicious activity.
11. Rights
Individuals may request access, correction, updating and, where applicable, deletion or objection, and may withdraw consent for the future. Requests should be sent to office@quierotener.com with enough information to verify identity. Legal retention duties or legitimate evidence needs may limit some requests.
12. Children
Quiero Tener is intended for people aged 18 or older. Accounts for minors are not permitted. Data identified as belonging to a minor without valid authorization may be deleted or blocked.
13. Third-party services
Links, WhatsApp, identity providers, payment services and other external services are also governed by their own policies. Quiero Tener does not control their independent processing.
14. Changes
New versions will be published with an effective date. When renewed acceptance is required, access to certain features may be suspended until it is recorded. Translations are provided for convenience; the Spanish version prevails in case of conflict.
15. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: office@quierotener.com.
16. Google and Facebook sign-in and account deletion
Google or Facebook sign-in is optional. When it is used, Quiero Tener processes the provider code and unique provider identifier. It may also receive the name and email when supplied by the provider. A Google address is treated as verified only when Google returns email_verified=true. OAuth access and refresh tokens are used only during the technical flow and are not stored permanently in the Quiero Tener database.
Linked identities can be managed in the account area. Deleting the Quiero Tener account removes the Google and Facebook links and provider identifiers. Removing app access directly at Google or Facebook does not automatically delete the Quiero Tener account. Complete account closure requires the internal deletion function or a verifiable request to office@quierotener.com. The public procedure is described at https://quierotener.com/data-deletion?lang=en_US.
16. Cookies, OpenStreetMap, Nominatim and optional content
Quiero Tener uses technically necessary cookies to maintain sessions, protect forms and security functions, and store the privacy selection. These cookies are required for the service to operate.
Optional external services remain disabled until the user allows them through the cookie settings. The selection can be changed or withdrawn at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
OpenStreetMap tiles are used to display maps. Only after consent to external services does the browser connect directly to the OpenStreetMap tile server. The provider may receive technical connection data such as the IP address, browser information, and the time of the request. Quiero Tener limits the referrer sent by the browser through its Referrer-Policy.
OpenStreetMap Nominatim is used for geographic search. The search query is sent from the Quiero Tener server to Nominatim. For private listings, a freely entered home address is not sent to Nominatim; only the place previously selected from the internal location hierarchy is used. For business profiles, a free search may contain a business address when the user actively searches for it. Additional address details are not requested from Nominatim.
Optional marketing or affiliate content, for example a future Easyname partner banner, is assigned to a separate consent category. Such content is not loaded before the corresponding consent is given. External providers may apply their own privacy and tracking rules after their content is activated or used.
